Descriptif du poste
Purpose
The shop/concession manager is the brand’s ambassador, they welcome customers, serve them and support them, along with sales assistants, and model exemplary conduct at all times.
They are responsible for developing sales and for the excellence of the service offered in the point of sale for which they are responsible.
They act to stimulate its activity, track its performance and respect the rules. They recruit, manage, motivate and support the development of their team.
They are accountable for good stock management and the optimisation of the sales space, the quality of product displays and rigorous respect of operational procedures.
They are in regular and frequent contact with teams at HQ (Sales, HR, etc.).
These many and varied responsibilities require multiple skills.
Tasks
· “Super salesperson”:
- Grow the turnover: Welcome customers and understand their needs, guide them to suitable products and collections, deal with payment and encourage client loyalty.
- Participate in developing cross-channel: welcome customers, promote additional sales, etc.
- Monitor the cash desks and be responsible for banking.
- Keep an eye on their team’s sales indicators and carry out the daily activity launch.
· Coach and First Manager of the point of sale
- Transmit their knowledge and skills to their team through briefings and training.
- Motivate and encourage the team to reach common objectives for sales development.
- Skills and action: Apply internal procedures and defined action plans and ensure they are respected.
- Delegate tasks in a meaningful way, follow up and check how they have been carried out.
· Point of sale administration manager:
They will participate in and supervise all “non-sales” activities linked to the organisation and functioning of the point of sale:
- Upkeep of the point of sale and merchandising.
ü Keep the point of sale clean and attractive.
ü Execute merchandising instructions and commercial operations according to the guidelines.
- Stock management:
ü Take delivery of and check parcels.
ü Put away, or oversee the putting away of, products on the sales floor or in the stockroom.
ü Put security tags on the articles and check both the tagging and that general security guidelines are respected.
ü Monitor the merchandise against theft and ensure staff also monitor it.
ü Organise rolling inventories.
ü Be aware of the stock level, restocks, and shrinkage rate.
- HR duties:
ü Participate in recruitment.
ü Establish schedules for the team and manage their working hours.
ü Collect and pass on the necessary information for creating employment contracts and payroll
Brand ambassador
They are responsible for the brand’s high end image both internally with employees (employer image) and externally.
They must be an example for their team members at all times.
