ba&sh is a leading French fashion brand in the dynamic affordable premium market. Named after the initials of its two founders, childhood friends Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, ba&sh has designed and manufactured a full range of women apparels since 2003. 
Barbara & Sharon have always been passionate about fashion, travels and enlightening encounters. They felt it quite natural to transform their unique and complementary visions into their own brand, so that they would create the “ideal wardrobe” made of elegant yet effortless pieces for all occasions. 
In 2015, L Catterton private equity firm acquired a 50% stake in ba&sh to accompany its development and international expansion, with the support of LVMH expertise and network. As of today, ba&sh operates more than 500 point of sales worldwide with a leadership presence in Europe and a fast-growing development in North America and Asia. 
ba&sh Asia office opened in early 2017 and has already successfully launched 15 stores in Hong Kong, Macau and China, as well as its flagship store on Tmall. Its aim is now to continue its development in Greater China and to seek new expansion opportunities in Asia.

descriptif du poste

Based within our office in Shanghai, you will be part of the regional team overviewing APAC global business reporting directly to the GM Greater China.

Main responsibilities include:

Business development - retail: coordinate retail partnerships through reviewing and visiting new location proposal, identity all business development opportunities in strategic cities, achieve acceptable commercial and legal terms in negotiation with landlords, prepare the development project reports.

Business development - wholesale: find new wholesalers and master-franchise partners, be the key interlocutor of all W/S & master-franchise partners, handle the collection presentation and wholesale commercial follow-up with the Paris Headquarter.

Architecture: be the warrant of the brand’s store concept in Asia and work closely with our architecture team to build up the stores layout, optimize the sourcing process and follow up on the budget.

Strategy / PMO: handle ad hoc project and managing strategic transversal projects.

Legal & Taxes: ensuring the compliance of legal entities and contractual database towards local legislation

profil recherché

  • 2 years’ experience in retail business,
  • Strong previous experience in business development demonstrated your expertise,
  • Effective communication and analytical skills,
  • Polyvalent, flexible, open-minded and generalist mind-set
  • Independent, well-organized and result-oriented
  • Good network in luxury business is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, French is a plus
